Former director-general of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms Joe Abah has trolled a man in a viral video who tore his Nigerian passport over the 2023 general elections.
Before destroying his passport, the man said he had come to the conclusion, after observing how the 2023 elections were conducted, that Nigeria is irredeemable.
He said, “Having critically observed the way and manner the Nigeria election has been conducted so far I have come to the conclusion that Nigeria can never be redeemed. As a result, I have decided not to be associated with anything called Nigeria. In order to buttress my assertion, I hereby destroy my Nigerian passport.”
Abah, also a country director of DAI, mocked the man on Twitter by saying his accent would always associate him to Nigeria.
“You that pronounce ‘anything’ as ‘any tin’? You will always have sontin to do with Nigeria,” he said.
The Nigerian in the video was not the only one who tore his passport over the 2023 polls which many have described as highly flawed.
Politics commentator Kayode Ogundamisi on Monday tweeted a video of a man who also tore his Nigerian passport.
