Actress Joke Silva has shared a video of the dress she wore to the inauguration of the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu women campaign team.
The inauguration took place at the Dome Banquet Hall at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday, October 10.
Joke who was appointed as the chairman of the creative and entertainment industries committee posted a video of her outfit to the inauguration on Instagram on Friday.
She wrote: “Flashback to Monday…. on my way to the TINUBU/SHETTIMA Women Presidential Campaign Team inauguration.
“I am honoured to have been appointed as Chairman of the Creative and Entertainment Industries Committee. It is a monumental privilege to be in such a position considering the ever-growing prominence and influence of Nigeria’s creative sector. With so much excitement, I am already envisaging the unprecedented feats that we will achieve together as a people in Nigeria’s creative economy. Come with me! Cheers!”
First lady and head of the campaign team Aisha Buhari, tasked the women to ensure massive mobilisation for women’s participation to ensure victory for APC in the 2023 general election.
APC national woman leader, Betta Edu who spoke at the inauguration added: “2023 is a mandate we must deliver.”
Other women in the creative and entertainment committee include Fausat Balogun, Remi Oshodi, Mercy Johnson, Rose Odika, Sola Kosoko, Lanre Hassan (Iya Awero) Hajiya Nas, Lizzy Jay (Omo Ibadan), Princess Kalihat Bello and Mansurah Isah.
