Broadcast journalist Kayode Ladeinde has welcomed a set of triplets 12 years after his wedding to Temidola.
Mr Ladeinde, who is head of news and editorial at RadioNow 95.3FM in Lagos, announced the birth of the babies – two boys and a girl – in a Facebook post on Thursday.
He said that his wife and the children are fine.
Recalling their journey to parenthood, Ladeinde said: “We were told on that Nuptial Ceremony, May 16, 2009, that in 12 months time, we shall gather again. Not only did we look forward to the fulfilment of that declaration, we even fast forward it to Nine months. What we thought was going to be a journey of 12 months turns out to be a journey of 12 years, yes twelve solid years. Only God could have kept us without falling and failing.”
Ladeinde studied English and Literature at the University of Benin, Edo State.
He bagged a master’s degree in public and international affairs at the University of Lagos.
