Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), has thanked his wife, Jumobi, for taking a backseat to make him shine.
The stage and screen veteran made the declaration in a message posted on Instagram on Thursday to celebrate the couple’s 16th wedding anniversary.
RMD, who married the former AIT presenter four years after his first wife, May Ellen Ezekiel, died due to complication from fibroid, said Jumobi has “kept me grounded, loved me unconditionally, prayed with me and for me and gone without to ensure I shine.”
God, the 55-year-old former Delta State commissioner of culture said, “has put to shame those who said we wouldn’t last.”

While RMD continues to shine in movie appearances, the latest including The Wedding Party, Three Wise Men and Okafor’s Law, his wife has significantly withdrawn from the public.
