Bobrisky falls ill in detention, rushed to hospital

Crossdresser Idris Okuneye widely known as Bobrisky has fallen ill while in detention at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon, Lagos.

After spending a night in police custody, Bobrisky was taken to Falomo Police Hospital for urgent medical attention, reports Vanguard.

A source quoted by the newspaper said Bobrisky was on Wednesday taken to the hospital after complaining of severe chest pain.

The source further revealed, “Bobrisky mentioned having ‘breast’ pain and was rushed to the Police Hospital in the Falomo area around 2:00 p.m. in an ambulance bearing the plate number LND 339L.

“He was dressed in a black gown, with his face covered by a shawl, and lay in the ambulance during the transfer.”

Bobrisky was taken into custody on Monday night by officials of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) at the Seme Border while allegedly attempting to leave the country.

The FCID is expected to seek a remand order to extend his detention.

Bobrisky is facing investigation for allegations of bribery against correctional officers and EFCC operatives.
