A part of the World Trade Centre building located in the Central Business District, Abuja has been engulfed in fire.
The fire began on Monday morning from the top of the skyscraper.
The Federal Fire Service said hours later that the fire has been extinguished.
General Manager, Operations, Ibukun Adeogun told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the fire outbreak was ‘minor’, adding that there was no cause for alarm, as there were no significant damages.
The World Trade Centre brand, since inception in 1939 in New York, United States, has become global trade hubs in more than 90 countries including Nigeria.
