The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says another person has tested positive for the coronavirus in the FCT, Abuja.
The centre made this known on Sunday via Twitter.
“One new case of COVID19 has been confirmed in FCT, Nigeria. As at 11:00 am on the 22nd of March, there are 27 confirmed cases of COVID19 in Nigeria,” the tweet read.
“Of the 27 confirmed cases, 2 have been discharged with no death.”
This puts the total number of confirmed cases in the FCT to four, while the total cases in the country now stand at 27.
