Veteran Nollywood actor Victor Olaotan has died, five years after a career-ending car accident.
He was aged 69.
Details of his death were sketchy as of the time of filing this report.
Olaotan, best known for his role as Fred Ade-Williams in the long-running soap opera Tinsel, was driving to a movie set in October 2016 when he had an accident around Apple Junction, in Festac, Lagos.
Businessman Femi Otedola and others contributed money for his treatment in Nigeria and Turkey.
Olaotan’s film credit includes Towo Tomo, Lovestruck, Three Wise Men, Lotanna, Remember Me and Voiceless Scream.
