Nigeria on Thursday recorded 193 cases of COVID-19 infection, bringing the total confirmed in the country to 5,162.
This was disclosed in a tweet by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Lagos State recorded the highest number of new infections with 58, followed by 46 from Kano.
Jigawa, Yobe and the Federal Capital Territory have 35, 12 and nine respectively.
A total of 1,180 have been discharged across the country with a fatality figure of 167.
