Juventus coach, Massimiliano Allegri, agrees four-year deal to become Chelsea manager – Report

Massimiliano Allegri has agreed a four-year deal to become the next Chelsea manager, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com.

The Juventus boss will replace interim manager Guus Hiddink at the end of the season.

Chelsea have been in the hunt for a permanent coach after sacking Jose Mourinho in December.

And according to Calciomercato, his replacement will be Juventus boss Allegri, who has agreed a four-year deal worth £5.3million a year to join Chelsea next season.

The 48-year-old is contracted to the Serie A giants until the 2017, but the report claims he is keen to leave to experience the Premier League.

Roman Abramovich was reportedly keen on Pep Guardiola before the Spaniard agreed to join Manchester City as a replacement for Manuel Pellegrini, who has also been heavily linked with the Blues.

Allegri boasts an impressive managerial record, though, having guided Juventus to a domestic double and the Champions League final during his first season in charge, and is currently presiding over a club record run of 13 straight wins.

The 48-year-old also won the Serie A and Suppercoppa Italiana with AC Milan in the 2010/11 season.

Should the former Napoli player join the Blues, he will become their fifth Italian manager after Gianluca Vialli, Claudio Ranieri, Carlo Ancelotti and Roberto di Matteo.
