Italian side, Juventus, have confirmed that manager, Massimiliano Allegri, will be leaving the club at the end of the 2018/2019 season.
The departure of the 51-year-old was announced in a statement on the club’s website reads on Friday.
“Massimiliano Allegri will not sit on the Juventus bench in the 2019-2020 season,” the statement read in parts.
Allegri enjoyed an highly successful stint at the Italian side winning five Scudettos, four Coppa Italia trophies and two Supercoppa Italiana titles during his time in Turin.
A failure to win the Champions League despite the record signing of Cristiano Ronaldo has been mentioned as a possible reason for his departure.
Allegri’s final game in charge will be against Sampdoria on 26 May.
