Entertainers like K1 De Ultimate, Banky W, Yeni Kuti, Eniola Badmus and Wande Coal, on Friday attended the burial reception of Juliana Balogun, mother of singer Wizkid in Lagos.
Celebrities and friends gathered at the event centre to support Wizkid and his family.
Socialite Pretty Mike of Lagos was also present at the burial reception.
Mrs Balogun was buried after a funeral service at the RCCG City of David COD Church Road, Dideolu Estate, off, Ligali Ayorinde St, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Born on July 26, 1990, in Surulere, Lagos, Wizkid grew up in a polygamous home with a Muslim father and a Christian mother. His father married three wives.
Wizkid’s mother was a familiar sight at most of his concerts and events.
She was born on July 14, 1957 and is survived by her husband, M.O Balogun, and four children, namely Yetunde Balogun, Omolara Osunkoya, Olubusayo Balogun, Ayodeji Balogun (Wizkid) and many grandchildren.
