Fuji musician K1 De Ultimate got a surprise birthday party organised by his wife Emmanuella to celebrate his 66th birthday on March 3.
Emmanuella had help from family members and friends in planning the surprise party at Radisson Blu hotel on Victoria Island, Lagos.
While speaking at the event, K1 described it as a coup planned right under his nose. He noted that he had just returned from a trip to congratulate President-elect Bola Tinubu.
He said, “If this is what you call a surprise, then I think I got caught in the most well-organised plan. We travelled to Abuja and we returned, and everybody bid me ‘good night’, urging me to go and rest. However, something told me that I should not go to bed yet. After a while, they said we should all go for dinner.”
At the event, family and friends were given the opportunity to talk about the birthday boy and wish him well. The party was anchored by MC Ajele.
Another highlight of the event was when K1’s personal assistant, Kaycee Ayinde, mimicked his boss to the delight of guests present.
While giving his appreciation speech, the Ade ori Okin singer thanked everyone who attended, and his wife, for being the brain behind the secret event.
Guests at the event include the chairman of Oriade Local Council Development Area, Ramotalai Akinola; presiding Shepherd of Celestial Church of Christ Genesis Global, Oladele Ogundipe; executive chairman of Isolo Local Council Development, Bayo Olasoju; Ahmad Alawiye, Erelu Temitope Saranda, chairman of the Lagos State Park and Garages Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo), Fuhad Oloto, film marketer and entrepreneur, Kazim Adeoti (Adekaz), Adebola Dosunmu, Dayo Amusa, Funke Ayinkeade, Faithia Williams, and Ibrahim Salu.
