Fuji maestro Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 de Ultimate, has announced the death of his mother Halima Anifowoshe, at the age of 105.
K1 shared the news on Saturday on Instagram, posting a photo of himself with his mother alongside the caption: “Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi Raji’un. RIP Mama.”
The post has sparked an outpouring of condolences from fans, colleagues, and well-wishers, who have flooded social media with prayers and messages of support for the grieving musician.
This tragedy comes just days after K1 lost one of his wives, Hafsat Anifowoshe, who died on Tuesday following an undisclosed illness.
