Fuji musician K1 de Ultimate paid a visit to the palace of the Elegushi of Ikateland over the weekend following reports that the king’s wife Olori Sekinat Elegushi was hospitalised after a Brazilian butt lift (BBL).
In the company of the king Oba Saheed Elegushi, chiefs and others, the Fuji star prayed for the queen that she would enjoy good health.
Typical of K1, he prayed for the queen with a song and everyone in the palace joined. The queen hugged him after the song.
Some bloggers had reported that the king’s wife fell into a coma in Turkey after undergoing a bum enlargement surgery.
A popular London-based blogger even claimed the queen died from the surgery.
Oba Elegushi, however, debunked the reports in a statement released by his spokesperson Temitope Oyefeso on Monday, May 8, describing them as fake news “which only exist in the wicked imagination of the authors.”
The king added that his senior wife was hale and hearty and going about her responsibilities in the palace.
“The palace takes serious exception to any unfounded and malicious news regarding the royal family and will not hesitate to bring the full weight of the law on anyone found culpable,” the statement continued.
Oba Elegushi married Sekinat in 2003 and the union has produced three daughters.
The monarch married a second wife Hadiza Yakasai from Kano in 2019.
Olori Sekinat had said in an interview that she is not bothered by her husband’s decision to marry another wife and that all men cheat.
