Drummer Kunle Ayanlowo has promised to stop attacking his former boss, Fuji musician, K1 de Ultimate on social media.
The man made the promise on Monday after honouring an invitation from Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Sefiu Adeyeri III who urged the entertainers to make peace.
Kunle had accused the fuji musician of mistreating and providing a poor welfare package for his band members, which K1 de Ultimate has since denied.
Speaking with journalists at his palace in Iseyin, Oyo State, after Kunle honoured his invitation, Oba Sefiu explained that Wasiu Ayinde and Ayanlowo have strong connections with Iseyin.
He said: “One is an in-law, while the other is a son of Ado-Awaye, a community under my local government. So, I have no choice but to wade into the crisis and seek a peaceful settlement.
“I have heard what Kunle said about his experience at his work and also listened to the video made by his former boss, Wasiu Ayinde. All I will say is that both of them should allow peace to reign.
“I told Kunle to stop posting videos and abusing his former boss, and have started efforts to reach out to K1 to speak with him and ask for peaceful reconciliation.”
Also speaking, the former lead drummer confirmed that the monarch had asked him not to do any confrontational videos or interviews anymore, which he would abide by henceforth.
He said, “They said I should not attack anyone anymore through social media or live interviews, and I have agreed with the monarch. I just want to start by appreciating all those who stood with me during my work until now. Those who heard my voice and have supported me morally, spiritually, and financially.
“I pray that the Lord Almighty will not abandon them all; their children will never suffer in their efforts to seek survival.”
