Associates of Fuji music star, K1 de Ultimate, also known as King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM1), have expressed deep regret over the death of his daughter, Wasilat.
The 34-year-old died of an undisclosed cause in Canada on Tuesday.
As reported by Qed.ng, one of the first people to mourn the deceased was her father’s former manager, Percy Ademokun.
“May the soul of Wasilat Marshal rest well and God be with K1 as he bear the loss,” Ademokun, who is now based in the US wrote on Facebook.
UK based strategist and public speaker, Dayo Olomu, who also worked as K1’s manager in the past also sent his condolence.
“I am deeply shocked at the sudden death of your daughter, Wasilat Asabi Olaronke Lawal at 34. I remember her as a beautiful and gentle soul, always smiling. This is extremely painful,” Olomu wrote.
Praying for the young lady and her family, he added: “May Allah grant her soul Aljanat Fidaus. May Almighty Allah also grant you and the family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
“Once more accept my condolences.”
Bolaji Basia, ex-husband of Nollywood actress, Bukky Wright said Wasilat should have been the one writing about his death, not the other way around.
“This is extremely painful, to lose someone so precious to you at a very tender age of 34,” Basia, whose praise K1 sang in a number of songs began.
2She’s supposed to be writing this about me not the other way round. Ever smiling, super pretty.”
Crying out in Yoruba, he added, “this is too much God,” before concluding that Wasilat should rest in peace.
