Journalist and television host Kadaria Ahmed has begun receiving birthday gifts ahead of her birthday on Sunday.
Ahmed has received cakes, flowers and goodwill notes among others from her friends and fans.
The broadcaster shared pictures of the gifts on Twitter, expressing appreciation.
“Birthday is 2 days away but these guys are not even waiting but I am not surprised. I have the most amazing circle of people around me. I am truly blessed. Thank you guys,” she wrote on Friday.
Ahmed began her career at the BBC. In 2011, she moderated Nigeria’s presidential election debate on live television.
In the build up to the 2019 general elections, she moderated the town hall meetings for presidential candidates and their deputies, specifically that of President Muhammadu Buhari and his vice, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo.
