Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has turned 59.
The Living in Bondage actor shared a picture of himself on Instagram on Monday.
He said, “Cheers to a new age.”
Actress Susan Peters, comedian Real Warri Pikin and Mr Macaroni, among others have celebrated the actor.
Kanayo, born Anayo Onyekwere, made his debut film appearance in the 1992 movie Living in Bondage and has starred in over 100 films.
In 2006, he won the African Movie Academy Award (AMAA) for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
Kanayo has a degree in mass communications from the University of Lagos.
He also obtained a degree in law from the University of Abuja in 2019.
