Former Kannywood actress Mansurah Isah has paid a courtesy visit to Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, the Oluwo of Iwoland in Osun State.
The Osun-born Kano-based star made this known in an Instagram post on Tuesday, appreciating the king for his hospitality.
“The only King in the south that opens His door to the Fulanis and any Hausa based in the south. Because he believes we are one and we can never be separated. When Your King is so proud of you and your achievement,” she wrote.
Isah made waves as Kannywood’s first female video editor before her acting debut.
In May 2021, it was reported that she and her husband actor Sani Danja have divorced after 13 years of marriage. The actress also made this known in an Instagram post, attacking critics who accused her of forcing herself out of the marriage.
” Hmmm, I took new pictures of myself and shared them on my page. You people said that is why I leave my marriage, I traveled to other places you said that is why I left my marriage.
” I want you all to know that I am not worried. I will do whatever pleases me. I don’t care how all of you feel or what you will say. I am not the first person to be divorced. Is it that you do not know what divorce is or ever heard of it?
” Even some elderly people will come to my page and abuse me. I want everything one of you finds comfort in abusing me so that I will never forgive him or her,” she wrote.
The estranged couple met in the Hausa film industry, they have four children together.
