Kano Pillars defender, Chinedu Udoji, has passed away after a fatal car auto crash on Sunday.
Udoji, 28, was Man of the Match in a week-nine Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match against his former club, Enyimba, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
According to reports, the colossal rearguard met his sad end on his way back to Pillars’ clubhouse from his ex-club hotel.
His death was confirmed by both sides on Twitter.

Before joining Pillars in 2015, Udoji led Enyimba to the NPFL title as well the FA Cup.
