Former Super Eagles forward, Nwankwo Kanu, has celebrated his son, Kachi, on his birthday.
Popularly known as Papilo, Kanu, who clocked 43 on August 1, celebrated his son in a tweet on Saturday.
The football icon prayed for God’s blessings on Kachi, adding that he knows that the boy would make them proud, drawing emotions from a famous advert used in his playing days.
“Happy birthday ππ Kachi my son God bless you and be with you and lead you all the days of your life πππ I know one day you will make us proud,” Kanu said.
Last month, Nwankwo Kanu celebrated the 15th anniversary of his wedding to wife, Amara.
The popular figure was vocal in his call for support for the Super Eagles during the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.
Kanu was recently appointed Senior Special Assistant on Sports Matters to Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha.
