Former Arsenal forward, Kanu Nwankwo, has congratulated his ex-coach, Arsene Wenger, on his appointment as FIFA head of global football development.
In a tweet late Wednesday, Kanu, who had celebrated Wenger on his 70th birthday in October, congratulated ‘the big boss’ once more.
He wrote: “Congratulations to the big boss himself ARSENÉ WENGER. @fifaworldcup Head of Global Football Development.”
Kanu Nwankwo played for the English side under Wenger from 1999-2004.
The 43-year-old is a member of the “Invincibles,” the Arsenal side that finished the 2003–04 season of the English Premier League undefeated.
He remains a popular figure at Arsenal, being applauded when he appears at the Emirates Stadium.
