Ex-Super Eagles skipper, Nwankwo Kanu, Friday, shared a photo of himself and Egypt forward, Mohamed Salah.
The pair met at the 2019 CAF Award ceremony in Dakar, Senegal on Tuesday night.
The Liverpool goal machine was the star of the show as he clinched a second successive Africa Player of the Year award.
Kanu, himself, a two-time winner of the prestigious accolade, was part of a select African legends at the event.
The pair appeared to have crossed paths and the Nigerian was excited to share it on Twitter.
” Friday vibes with Africa’s best 2019 Mohamed Salah .congratulations,” he tweeted alongside a photo of himself and the ex-Roma man.
Kanu enjoyed a blistering career at both club and national team level.
Amongst others, he won the Champions League at Ajax, Europa with Inter Milan, Premier League and FA Cup with Arsenal.
Salah is still miles away, albeit hoping to win his maiden Champions and Premier Leagues.
