Socialite and founder of Kas Chicken Adebayo Kassim, who died last Thursday, has been buried.
Kassim died on the day of burial of his friend Dotun Olaribigbe, popularly known as Lobito Disco. His death came just three weeks after Lobito’s.
The fidau prayer for the socialite will be held on August 5.
Kassim was a close friend of the Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila.
Before his death, Kassim wrote what many have termed a prophetic tribute to Lobito in the latter’s burial booklet.
He wrote, “Good night my general, we been friends for about 45years not one day we don’t talk, I will greatly miss you, wait for me at the gate of heaven see you on the other side your friend and brother forever.”
Kas Chicken was popular in Lagos in the 80s and 90s.
Before the foremost fast food eatery packed up, so much in demand was the quick service restaurant that it was the toast of the affluent in society
