Filmmaker Kemi Adetiba has vowed to work with Hollywood star Viola Davis.
The newly wed said this on Twitter on Tuesday, following Viola’s recent interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Quoting the Hollywood actress, Kemi wrote: “”When you are in the face of compassion and empathy, it’s amazing how it kills shame. Because you’re SEEN!!And you’re seen for something way more valuable than your circumstances.” – Viola Davis”.
In another post, the filmmaker promised herself a work relationship with Davis.
“I will work with Viola Davis in my lifetime,” she wrote.
The filmmaker produced and directed the hit movie King of Boys.
In September 2021, Kemi Adetiba expressed her excitement after King of Boys was mentioned during the foreign affairs committee meeting of the UK Parliament.
The movie and it’s sequel stars Sola Sobowale, Adesua Etomi, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Deyemi Okanlawon, Akin Lewis, Taiwo Ajai-Lycett and others.
