Kemi shared her excitement on Instagram on Tuesday at being the director of the movies ranked number 1 and 4 on the log.
“…I’d be lying if I said it did not feel good to be recognised, especially when one throws back and appreciates the gruelling effort it took to get here. And we got here by doing nothing but the HARD work. No gimmicks… No short-cuts. It is very possible. I have no manager, no agent, no PR company, not even a PA!!! Please do not let anyone tell you differently. Or convince you to compromise yourself to get to your goals,” she said.
The moviemaker turns 40 on Wednesday.
