Self-styled investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has shared a throwback picture of herself being carried by late reggae singer , Majek Fashek.
The 55-year-old shared the photo on Tuesday as part of her tribute to the Benin City-born singer.
“Majekodunmi, when u carried me off my feet after our interview, ‘Kemi you will always be my best music reporter’ I was interviewing a legend! Thank you for the memories…,” she wrote.
Majek’s death had earlier been confirmed by his manager, Omenka Uzoma in a video he shared on social media.
“I have been having pressure calls from all over. Yes, it is true that the legend has gone to be with the Lord.
“Let’s celebrate him, his achievements and his family. Whatever decisions made by his immediate family will be notified,” he said.
