President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick, has described former national team coach, Stephen Keshi, who died of suspected heart attack on Wednesday, as a superhero.
Pinnick, who Okayed Keshi’s dismissal as Super Eagles manager in July last year, leads others in mourning the only Nigerian to have won the Africa Cup of Nation (AFCON) as player and coach.
Keshi was one of Africa’s best known football coaches, having managed Togo, Mali and Nigeria.
Little wonder the world is paying tribute to the man affectionately known as the Big Boss.
NFF President Amaju Pinnick: “Keshi was a superhero. His death is a big loss to Nigeria as a nation, not only to Nigeria football.”
