Minister of aviation and aerospace development Festus Keyamo on Friday met with billionaire philanthropist Tony Elumelu at COP28 Climate Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Mr Keyamo said he and Mr Elumelu met at the African Pavilion where he (Keyamo) represented President Bola Tinubu in launching Nigeria’s long-term low emission development strategy.
The minister and Elumelu were pictured shaking hands.

“Earlier today, I was at the African Pavilion at the UN CLIMATE CHANGE CONFERENCE in Dubai (COP 28 UAE) where I represented Mr. President to launch Nigeria’s LONG-TERM LOW EMISSION DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY. The Chairman of Heirs Holdings, Tony Elumelu, was also at the African Pavilion,” Keyamo captioned his social media post.
World leaders are gathered at the summit to discuss climate change and how rich economies can help developing ones tackle it.
President Tinubu on Thursday met with Britain’s King Charles III on the sidelines of the summit.
