After a week of media silence, reality star, Khloe Kardashian, have finally made a statement concerning the collapse of her estranged husband, former NBA star, Lamar Odom.
The 31-year-old star released a statement on her app and website www.khloewithak.com on Tuesday morning saying “The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful for family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work.”
She also added that she was touched by the “outpouring of love”, saying that without the “strength” the support gave her “it would have been difficult to endure”.
Kim Kardashian’s little sister concluded saying “Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!!”
Khloe’s statement comes hours after Odom was airlifted from Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles at around 5.30pm on Monday.
According to E online, Khloe is reported to have also traveled in the helicopter, having kept vigil at the 35-year-old’s bedside ever since he was admitted.
Lamar Odom collapsed a week ago during a drink and drug-fueled binge in a Nevada brothel, Las Vegas.
