Kid saxophonist Temilayo Abodunrin has expressed joy over the acknowledgment and blessings she received from fuji musician KWAM 1 for her performance at Iyabo Ojo’s mother’s remembrance.
A video of the girl interacting with KWAM 1 was shared in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
“King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, The Mayegun Of Yoruba Land @kingwasiuayindemarshal was highly impressed and happy with my performance.
“I receive his blessings, words of encouragement and more…. You like to know the more? Stick with me on this journey, it’s definitely gonna be a beautiful one. Thank you so much Sir,” the post read.

The 12-year-old started playing the saxophone at the age of six.
In an exclusive interview with Qed TV, the musician said that her dad got her the musical instrument at age six. She was recently invited to perform at a concert in USA.
She has performed at many concerts sharing the same stage with singers like Johnny Drille, Tope Alabi, Wole Oni and others.
Temilayo is best known for her cover version of ‘Duduke’ by Simi and ‘Jowo’ by Davido which she became popular for.
