Abductors of the mother of head of DAAR Communications Centre Jos, Plateau State, Dinah Ayua, have set her free.
DAAR Communications is the parent company of Africa Independent Television (AIT) and Raypower FM.

Mrs Ayua was kidnapped last Saturday at Zakibiam, Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State at about 7 pm.
According to The Nation, the 67-year-old was released on Wednesday night at Jootar village, along Zakibiam-Wukari federal highway in Benue.
The newspaper quoted her son who said he was contacted within 24 hours by her abductors who initially demanded N10 million ransom.

Ayua contested the Ukum state constituency during the 2019 elections.
The On-Air Personality said he was thankful for his mother’s release. He also called on the state and federal governments to save the people of Sankera bloc from hoodlums.
