Juju singer and songwriter King Sunny Ade dazzled the crowd on Monday, November 11 at the 70th birthday celebration of the founder of Citadel Global Community Church formerly Latter Rain Assembly Pastor Tunde Bakare.
Dressed in white, KSA, as he is fondly called, came fully prepared for the occasion in Lagos with his band.
His backup singers were dressed in uniform attire.
The 78-year-old multi-instrumentalist and his singers entertained the celebrant and his guests with their music and dance moves.
Apparently enjoying the sound, Bakare signalled KSA that he was doing a great job.
Also, gospel singer Yinka Alaseyori ministered at the occasion.
After singing, Alaseyori went on her knees to greet the celebrant and his wife Olayide Bakare, Bishop Mike Okonkwo and his wife Peace Okonkwo of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) and others.
Dignitaries, politicians, businesspeople and well-wishers gathered at the church to celebrate Bakare.
Notable political figures such as Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai and Lagos State Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat were present.
The celebration was also graced by the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi.
