Singer Kizz Daniel has announced that he will be performing at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup by 7 pm Nigerian time.
The 28-year-old made the announcement in an Instagram post on Wednesday ahead of the much-anticipated event today.
“7 pm Naija time,” the singer wrote with an animated photo wearing a green-coloured jersey.
Kizz Daniel announced his arrival in Qatar on his Instagram story on Tuesday morning as he shared fun moments with 2022 FIFA World Cup officials.
Fans of the music artiste, who had previously expected him to perform during the opening ceremony of the tournament on November 20 with fellow Nigerian artiste CKay, became worried when he did not appear on stage.
But the ‘Buga’ star had on Friday, November 11 confirmed he will be performing on November 23 and not the opening ceremony on November 20 as speculated.
Other artistes slated to perform at Al Bayt Stadium include American DJ Thomas Wesley better known as Diplo who would be performing today, November 22, Canadian actress, dancer and singer Nora Fatehi who is set to perform on November 29 after Kizz Daniel, American singer and songwriter Trinidad Cardona who would be performing on December 1 and award-winning DJ Calvin Harris set to perform on December 10.
