Singer Kizz Daniel has confirmed that he would be performing at the 2022 World Cup holding on November 20 in Qatar.
The 28-year old confirmed this in an Instagram post on Friday, November 11 where he posted photos of himself and other artistes that will be performing at the World cup.
Captioning his post, he wrote: “This one is for Africa. This one is for Vado nation. See you in Qatar World Cup 23/11/2022.”
The singer also wrote on his Instagram story saying, “Speak into existence.”
Earlier in June, the father of two expressed his desire to perform one of his hit songs ‘Buga’ at the World Cup with a mass choir.
He wrote: “God I want to perform Buga for World Cup with a mass choir. Help me say amen.”
Kizz teamed up with fellow artiste, Tekno, for the release of the single which became an instant hit because of the easy dance moves that followed the song.
Since its release in May, 2022, ‘Buga’ has caught the attention of both young and older demographics and it has also enjoyed domestic and international acceptance.
The music video also has over 40 million views on YouTube.
In October, Kizz Daniel released ‘Cough’ ODO five months after the release of ‘Buga’ and the song has also caught the attention of both old and young demographics .
