Pop singer, Korede Bello, on Tuesday posted a selfie of himself and the Inspector-General of Police, Idris Ibrahim, on Instagram.
The Marvin Record artiste, who was unveiled in December 2015 as Nigeria’s first ever police youth ambassador, tagged the picture “Rare selfie of SP Korede Bello and IGP Idris K. Ibrahim Say hello to the new Doro M3GA Superintendent of Police.”
The ‘Godwin’ hit singer, Bello is participating in a police/youth forum with the theme: “Say No To Cultism, Internet Fraud And Drug Dealings” at the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.
Other artistes expected at the event include Ruggedman, Dr. Sid, Sound Sultan, Small Doctor including Nollywood acts, Odunlade Adekola and Omoni Oboli.
The police are using entertainment and youth influencers in fighting crime and to improve security in the country.
