Pop artiste Korede Bello on Wednesday suggested he regretted leaving Abuja after meeting with the Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu.
The singer told a young woman identified as Dera who said armed thugs disrupted the Abuja #EndSWAT protest that he probably shouldn’t have left Abuja in a hurry.
“Maybe I shouldn’t have left Abuja in a hurry. You okay though, Dera? #EndSWAT #EndPoliceBrutality,” Korede tweeted.
On Monday, Korede Bello, Davido, D’banj, CDQ among others had a meeting with the IGP to discuss the demands of the youths concerning the now-defunct controversial Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
