Korede Bello’s dream comes true with new single featuring Asa

Mavin Records artiste, Korede Bello, ticked something off his bucket list on Wednesday with the release of ‘Somebody Great’ featuring the iconic Asa.

It is a follow-up to his hit track, ‘Godwin, and is already getting positive reviews from fans who tagged the song as inspiring.

Produced by Don Jazzy, the song is about being uplifted by God from nobody to somebody.

Something great did happen to Korede Bello with the track as he got to work with two of the people he dreamed about as an aspiring artiste.

The 19-year-old revealed on Instagram that Asa’s album was the first CD he ever bought with his money.

I vividly remember listening to @Donjazzy’s beats with some of my friends and be like ‘Jazzy’s surely one of the Greatest producers that Africa has produced.’ I also remember buying @asa_music album when it came out – probably the first music CD I ever bought with my money. Listening to her message and her voice thinking to myself ‘I’ld love to work with someone as Great’ Now having both ASA and Donjazzy on the same soooong ?? makes me feel like I’m on the right path to be becoming #SomebodyGreat someday by God’s grace ??
