Pastor Korede Komaiya of The Master’s Place International Church has celebrated his wife, Pastor Esther Komaiya, in a heartwarming way as she marked her birthday on Saturday.

The clergyman took to Instagram to share a video capturing moments from a surprise birthday party organised in honour of his wife.

Captioning the post, Pastor Komaiya wrote, “We were shocked with an honour reception to celebrate Past Komaiya this morning. It was a time of gratitude, appreciation and Thanksgiving for a life of impact and influence. I am grateful to God to be the husband of this inestimable gift. My girl, today is your day. Happy birthday, girl!”

The couple, known for their leadership at The Master’s Place, have often shared glimpses of their strong bond and mutual admiration on social media.

Pastor Korede Komaiya and Pastor Esther Komaiya got married on August 2, 1997.

Komaiya is a protege of Living Faith Church (Winners’ Chapel) founder Bishop David Oyedepo.

He was in the news in March for saying he contributed N250 million of a reported N1.5 billion to buy a Rolls Royce for Oyedepo’s 70th birthday.

An Abuja-based pastor Festus Alilu was arrested by the police in March after he accused Komaiya in a Facebook video of misleading church members with fabricated prosperity teachings.

Alilu was released from detention after apologising to Komaiya.
