Dancer and singer Korra Obidi has dedicated her song about domestic violence to the late gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu.
Osinachi died on April 8 in Abuja. She is alleged to have endured years of domestic abuse from her husband Peter Nwachukwu.
Korra, in an Instagram post on Monday posted a video about of her condemning domestic abuse.
“Say no to domestic violence, RIP Osinachi,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, the police have arrested Osinachi’s husband Peter Nwachukwu over the death of his wife.
FCT police spokesperson Josephine Adeh confirmed the arrest of Mr Nwachukwu.
“He is now in our custody. The younger brother of the deceased reported the matter and we have commenced investigation,” she said.
