Yoruba actor Kunle Afod has said his new project titled Ado will shed light on a skin condition known as vitiligo.
The 47-year-old shared pictures from the movie set on Instagram on Tuesday.
According to Kunle, vitiligo is a skin pigment caused by dead cell or cells that are not functioning.
“The Movie ‘ADO’ is one of its kind . Vitiligo is just a skin pigment cause by dead cell or say the cells are not functioning. In ancient African cultures the persons affected has been stigmatized and called several names and mistook the skin disease as leprosy . Learn more about it in this movie ADO,” he wrote.
The movie will be starring Yemi Solade, Binta Ayo Mogaji, Olatundun Damilola among several others.
Kunle’s other notable works include Odi ada, Òréjomí and Nkan agbara.
