Actor Kunle Afod has received an award for excellence from the Afro-Heritage Broadcasting & Entertainment Awards (AHBEA) in Houston Texas, USA on his birthday.
The Yoruba movie star posted a photo of the award in an Instagram post on Monday to celebrate his birthday.
Captioning the post, he wrote: “My first birthday gift. Thank you AHBEA, thank you Houston Texas.”
Fellow celebrities and fans congratulated and wished him a happy birthday in the comment section of the post.
Kunle was also celebrated by his wife Desola who posted a video of herself on Instagram praying for her husband.
The actor has won several awards including the City People Movie Award for best director in Yoruba language category.
The native of Oyo State has been featured in movies such as Esuru, Agba Awo, Eru Jeje, Owo Ago and Ewe Koko.
Kunle and his wife are blessed with four children.
