Award-winning filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, is continuing the tradition he inherited from his late father, Adeyemi Afolayan, popularly known as Ade Love.
With brothers, Gabriel and Aremu, very active in Nollywood, Kunle is introducing his six-year-old son, Darimisire, to the limelight with a role in his latest production titled Roti.
The little man joins his dad, Kate Henshaw, Toyin Oshinaike and Fathia Balogun as actors in the film.
That not all, Kunle’s mum, Mrs Omoladun Afolayan, is also starring in the Africa Magic Films and Golden Effects Pictures collaboration.
In Roti, the psychological limits and endurance of a couple are stretched after the wife, Diane, suddenly sees an exact replica of her dead son (five years after his death), walking leisurely home from a different school and living an entirely different life.
Coming a year after Kunle’s last production, The CEO, Roti will be released in cinemas nationwide in June 2017.
