Filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has revealed that skit makers Layi Wasabi and Sisi Quadri and actress Aunty Ramota will feature in his four-part series Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre.
Kunle unveiled Layi Wasabi and Sisi Quadri through an Instagram post on Tuesday which featured scenes shot during production. The movie maker tagged their Instagram accounts in the caption.
Kunle unveiled Aunty Ramota in a separate Instagram post on Wednesday.
“Guess who this is?? Anikulapo-Rise of the spectre is coming,” the 48-year-old wrote.

Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre is a sequel to the movie Anikulpao released in 2022.
The series will feature Sola Sowobale, Kunle Remi. Bimbo Ademoye, Owobo Ogunde, Gabriel Afolayan, Lateef Adedimeji, Eyiyemi Afolayan, Uzee Usman, Oyinda Sanni and Taiwo Hassan.
Distributed by Netflix, Anikulapo has an IMDB rating of 5.5.
It got 16 nominations at the 2023 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCAs) and won five of them including the category of Best Overall Movie in Africa.
