Actor Kunle Remi has announced the birth of his first child with his wife, Boluwatiwi Oye, fondly called Tiwi.
Kunle shared a heartwarming video on Instagram on Wednesday, capturing moments with his wife and their newborn.
In an emotional message, the actor reflected on their journey to parenthood, revealing that their child, named Eemi Oluwa, arrived after weeks of faith and perseverance.
“From an unexpected and unsettling medical discovery to complete bed rest. From juggling demanding work schedules to hopping on flights, both locally and internationally,” he wrote.
“From waiting, countless NICU visits, and clinging to God for 11 weeks and 3 days (that’s 80 days of faith). Our story is living proof that God is God—unfailing, unwavering, and faithful till the very end. We’ve been blessed with a WONDER. We’ve been blessed with EEMI OLUWA—the BREATH OF GOD.”
Kunle also announced that they shared their journey in a documentary titled Journey to Wonder, now available on his YouTube channel.
His announcement drew an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues.
Kunle and Tiwi tied the knot in a grand celebration that included a traditional wedding in Ibadan, Oyo State, and a white wedding ceremony.
Tiwi, born in 1997, is a Nigerian entrepreneur from the esteemed Otedola family. She is the daughter of Pastor Abimbola Oye and Omotola Otedola-Oye, making her a niece to billionaire Femi Otedola.
