Fuji musician K1 De Ultimate also known as KWAM 1 has revealed plans to hold a colloquium in honour of late fuji musician Sikiru Ayinde Agbejeola popularly known as Barrister.
The 64-year-old made this known in an Instagram post on Monday.
KWAM 1did not give more details about the event, he, however, hinted that the colloquium is scheduled to be an annual event with activities such as lectures, tributes, and musical concerts.
Ayinde, aged 62, died on December 16, 2010. He is well known for creating fuji music from were music.
He released records under the label African Songs Ltd before starting his own label Siky-Oluyole Records.
His popular record Reality was released in 2004.
Ayinde Barrister earned so many notable awards during his lifetime and music career however, the most significant is the conferment of the honor of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) by the then President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2006, President Olusegun Obasanjo.
