The first female councillor in Kwara, Raliat Abdulrazaq, who is also the mother of Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has clocked 91.
She was born in Aba, Abia State, to parents of Ilorin origin.
President Muhammadu Buhari congratulated her in a message issued by his spokesman Garba Shehu on Tuesday.
The president joined family members, friends and well-wishers in honouring her devotion to serving humanity and community.
He also commended her for working passionately to provide quality education to the less privileged.
Buhari thanked “Mama Raliat for all she has done in raising and inspiring a generation with a deep affection for Nigeria’s unity, stability and development.”
He prayed almighty Allah to grant her more years of good health.
The nonagenarian speaks Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, and English languages fluently.
