The announcement was made by the big masquerade himself on his Facebook page.
An excited Lagbaja wrote, “Congratulations Nigeria! I don collect my Voter’s Card! Therefore… No 2nd Term for President Jonathan!”
Lagbaja had last year charged Jonathan to sit up in tackling corruption and ensure the release of the Chibok girls captured by Boko Haram.
He had said back then that Jonathan “has never come out in clear terms to show that he stands for something” and that “whoever is going to be the next President should get it straight that the position is not for jokers.”
It is now obvious Mr President has fallen short of the standard Lagbaja expected of him.
Having ruled out Jonathan, the Coolu Temper artiste went silent about who he will be voting for in his Facebook post.
Given his aversion for past military rulers, one cannot easily say he has been converted to the side of All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.
One thing for sure though, the man will be voting as Bisade, not Lagbaja, as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is not known to register masked men.
