The driver of a vehicle that rammed into two personnel of the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) along Gbagada Expressway on Monday morning has turned himself in.
Spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this to PUNCH on Tuesday.
According to Hundeyin, the driver, whose name he did not reveal, would be charged in court on Tuesday for manslaughter.
The suspect was driving a Honda Saloon car with number plate EPE 984 DV when the accident occurred.

He said, “The owner of the Honda Saloon car turned himself in yesterday (Monday) night and he will be taken to court today for manslaughter.
“It was not murder, it was an accident and was not deliberate, so he will be charged with manslaughter.”
The driver, it was gathered, fled the scene of the accident without his car. The police later took possession of the vehicle.
Lagos State Task Force and the traffic management authority have both said their officials were not involved in a chase with the driver.
